As a Bilingual Healthy Families Coordinator, you play a key role in our nonprofit's efforts to strengthen families. Your job is to get the word out about our Healthy Families program and to assist in our efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect. Each day you come to work ready to seek out new families who could benefit from our approach. You do so by visiting community partners, giving program presentations in a variety of venues, and using your creativity to develop new methods for recruiting and retaining families.

Our program is all about relationships, so you strive to build connections with the people you encounter. When referrals come in, you meet with families to fill out the parent survey, which you then score and document. Conscientious about follow-through, you work with your supervisor to ensure that the families who qualify are enrolled, welcomed, and provided with the services they need.

In addition to your marketing and recruitment efforts, you help coordinate support groups and develop a local parent leadership advisory council. You also participate in our parent leadership conference to ensure that the families in our program are engaged and involved. As you go about your duties, record-keeping is a priority. You track program acceptance rates, retention rates, and other data, some of which you use to generate reports. Because of your passion for family services, you eagerly accomplish these tasks and more. You believe in our nonprofit's mission to strengthen families, and that's why your job is perfect for you!
