Tax Credits May Be Available for Certain Contributions by Kansas Residents
The Family Conservancy's Family Asset Building (FAB) program prepares eligible low-to-moderate income working families with young children to enter the economic mainstream. Program participants earn matching dollars for each dollar they save, which can then be used in some very specific ways: to purchase a first home, go to college, make a significant home repair, or start a small business.

Families also attend educational classes to learn sound financial management practices and be supported as they work to achieve their financial and life goals.

If you reside in the state of Kansas and tax credits are available, you may subtract 75% of the total amount of your contribution to the FAB program from your Kansas state tax liability, and you may use the entire gift as a federal tax deduction, for the tax year in which you make your gift. The Family Conservancy recommends that you discuss this with your tax preparer or tax attorney to determine your exact benefit.

To Get Started
If you would like to invest in the economic success and stability of families assisted by the Family Asset Building (FAB) program and benefit from this unique tax credit by making a contribution (minimum of $250), please contact Rochelle Parker at 913.742.4144 before making a contribution.
