- Avoid sunscreens with PABA for younger children
- Apply sunscreen 30 minutes before you go out
- Use a sunscreen with at least a 15 SPF
- Reapply every 2 to 3 hours
- Don’t forget the eyes: use sunglasses with “broad spectrum” protection
To help sunburn - Apply a cold compress
- Give a cool/not cold bath
- Apply pure aloe Vera
- Keep out of sun/in shade until healed
- Call doctor is severe burn occurs
