Parenting with Love and Logic

  • Mondays from 6-8 pm, call 913-742-4357 to confirm when the next class is starting
6 group sessions (individual assessment may be required based on case situation)

Total program fee: $55.00 for individual or $90 per couple residing in same household This class helps parents teach children responsibility by allowing them to grow through the consequences of their choices, which ultimately prepares them for the real world. This is accomplished by shared control, providing opportunities for children to think and be accountable for their decisions and learn from their mistakes, while parents provide love and empathy.

Insurance Plans / Fees

Insurance Plans/Fees

The Family Conservancy accepts a number of insurance plans and is contracted with various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP’s). Our Central Scheduling Department can assist you in verifying outpatient behavioral health benefits with your Insurance plan. We can help determine if our clinicians are “in network” providers or if you have “out of network” benefits that will cover services at The Family Conservancy.

It is also important to verify if an authorization is necessary for your insurance plan to cover your treatment before services are rendered. Failure to do so may result in out-of-pocket expenses. If your employer offers an EAP, your Human Resources Department can direct you to the company that manages your EAP in a confidential manner. You will probably need to preauthorize with your EAP before services are rendered. Your EAP will refer you to the appropriate counseling agency. The Family Conservancy may be on your list since we are providers for several major EAP companies.

If you don’t have any insurance or EAP benefits we have a sliding scale fee based on gross household income and family size. Clients are expected to pay for services, whether it’s an insurance copayment or sliding scale fee at the time of service. If reports are required to be sent to a third party, an additional service fee needs to be paid prior to the release of our findings. For your convenience we accept Mastercard, VISA, Discover, debit cards, money orders, cash and checks. To make a first time appointment or for any further information or questions, call central scheduling at 913.742.4357.
