When a traumatic incident occurs in the workplace, employees may experience after-effects  The stress of a severe trauma can cause physical and emotional reactions that make it hard for them to stay focused on their work. Critical incident stress debriefing provides on-site counseling for employees and their families to help recover from the experience.
