Will Comforting a Crying Baby Spoil the Child? | Print |  E-mail

Infants cry when they are tired, hungry, sick, hot, cold or frightened. Infants do not misbehave on purpose to annoy adults. Crying is their way of communicating their distress. You should not punish an infant, but try to figure out what the baby needs to feel comfortable and secure.

If your baby cries constantly and can't be soothed, take your baby to a doctor for a check-up.
