Background Investigation
The Family Conservancy believes that recruiting qualified individuals to fill positions contributes to the overall strategic success of the agency.  Background checks serve as a means of promoting a safe work environment for current and future staff members as well as enhancing the protection of the consumers we serve.  The Family Conservancy conducts initial background investigations for new staff and volunteers, as well as volunteers (age 18 and over) and independent contractors who provide direct service and/or who work in an office which provides services to children, elderly and/or vulnerable adults. Our investigation includes screening of an applicant’s criminal convictions, including child/elder abuse and neglect, and sex offender registry status.
