We are always in need of bus passes for low-income families in our Head Start and other programs who have no transportation to get help meet their basic needs like making it to a doctor's appointment or a trip to the grocery store. If you'd like to donate passes or money toward bus passes, please donate here and notate "bus passes" in the comments section.
The Family Conservancy needs taxi vouchers to help domestic violence victims — and others in need who have no access to transportation — get to and from our counseling office. Provide an Immigrant Guide to help our clients who are new to the United States be successful in their new country. The guide can help with issues such as: applying for a job, renting an apartment, filing taxes, selecting insurance plans, and helping kids with school. The cost is approximately $4 each, so it would be $40 to purchase 10 guides or $400 to purchase 100 guides. Go to our donation page and type "Immigrant Guides" in the Special Notes or Comments section. View the guide at http://www.unitingresources.org/product-details/the-immigrant-guide/.
