Phone Consultation with Trained Accreditation Specialists
Accreditation Facilitation Project staff is available to provide phone support regarding the NAEYC accreditation process. 

Director Support Group Meetings
All directors or center representatives who are interested in learning more about the NAEYC accreditation process are encouraged to attend our Director Support Group meetings. The meetings are designed to be inclusive of all aspects of the NAEYC accreditation self-study process. Meetings are held in two locations in the greater metropolitan area on a monthly basis with the exception of April, August, and December. Dates and locations for the meetings can be found on the training calendar

On-site Technical Assistance
Accreditation specialists will visit selected programs to provide feedback and mentoring on NAEYC quality standards. 

Early Accreditation Support
Early Accreditation Support enables centers to move forward in the accreditation process. Through group or individual meetings, Early Accreditation Support helps centers build on their existing knowledge as they move toward ensuring quality care for children.Early Accreditation Support services include:

  • Regular on-site visits
  • Director support group meetings
  • Training meetings with staff & parents
  • Classroom & administrative assessments
  • Development of professional & program improvement plans

Re-accreditation Support
NAEYC accredited programs seeking support for the re-accreditation process can receive the following support services:

  • Phone or on-site technical assistance
  • Director support group meetings
