Bilingual Head Start Mental Health Specialist
For 10-months a year provides social emotional screenings to Head Start participants including assessment of the needs of children and their families. Works in cooperation with all other disciplines within Head Start in order to provide internal mental health consultation, social emotional development support, training and compliance monitoring.
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks daily. Responsible for answering incoming calls, directing call to the appropriate services, mail distribution, flow of correspondnece and assisting Operations Manager with vendors and office emergencies.
Marketing Communications Specialist
The Marketing Communications Specialist will lead all marketing communications activities and brand management under the direction of the Vice President of Development and Communications. Main goals are to: 1) increase awareness and visibility of The Family Conservancy’s mission, services and impact on the Greater Kansas City community, and 2) support fund development strategies.
Part-time Child Care Teacher
Position requires assisting the Bilingual Program Assistant, Bilingual Nurse Educator, or Parent Education Coordinator in the day to day planning and coordination of childcare. The teacher is also responsible for providing care to groups of children varying in ages from newborn to preadolescence, and for interacting and communicating with the children and parents in a positive manner. (3-15 hours per week)
Part-time Practitioner II (LMSW)
On a part-time basis, up to 18-hours a week, provides direct social work services with voluntary, nonvoluntary consumers requesting individual, couples, family, and/or group services. Able to work with related community resources and joint projects.
Supports agency financial operations by performing and supervising professional level accounting and complex accounting duties relating to financial analyses and preparation of required financial reports, assists in budget development and control, grant management, Head Start oversight and reviews and implements laws and policies.
